Got stuck with connection

Hello, I'm trying to use your lib to connect to some remote server.

I've used Fiddler to track what's happening and compared default web app behaviour and my .net app:

At first both of them trying to get handshake sid from http://ip:port/socket.io/1/ But then nothing happened with my app, when I'm trying to send data (after "connect" message), but original page is

  1. Opening tunnel to ip:port
  2. GETting http://ip:port/socket.io/1/websocket/handshake_sid

I saw in debug new wsClient initialization with correct URI, maybe something wrong with socket version?

Thanks in advance,

Vlad

Couple of questions then:

Were you able to get the sample application going local?

What version of socket.io is running on the server, and is it inside or outside of your own network?
Is the browser connecting with the node/socket.io server, but the .net app isn't (assume both .net app and browser from the same machine)?

Are you seeing a connection event in the .net app, but data from .net app is not being received on the server?
Are getting an Close or Error event message?

Any code snippets to show the very basics?

Hello, thanks for your response.

Sorry, it was my fault: I was trying to send JSON message instead of TextMessage and auth in app didn't work properly. I've changed sending format and now everything works like a charm.

Thanks for such great lib, it saved a lot of my time.

Regards,

Vlad.
