Can I receive sockets from anywhere?

On the home page, it gives an example of connecting to a client like this:
socket = new Client(""); // url to nodejs
Can I create a client that accepts sockets from anywhere, and not just the address that I specify when creating a client?

I'm not sure I completely understand what your trying to solve, but the client can only communicate (exchange messages) with a server it connects to (via the address specified in the Client constructor). There isn't any wild-card address notion that a client could "listen" on.

From the server perspective, any messages that are sent (broadcast or sent) will only reach the clients that are currently connected with it (or via one of the servers in a farm). Once a client is connected to a server, you could join 'rooms' in order to help segment & target groups with messages and such.
