Is the SocketIO4Net.Client applicable to Unity3D?

Thanks to the great project!

Now I need an Unity3D client which should be based socket.io, so can I choose the SocketIO4Net.Client?

AFAIK, Mono API doesn't quite meet up to .net 4.0 (dynamic support would be key) - so my quick answer would be probably not.  

There was another user (joeandaverde) that was interested in .net 3.5 support - that would certainly get you closer.  Not sure what progress he made, if any.

I'm a n00b regarding Unity3D, so rather than give out bad advice, I'll defer back to you or someone else that has first hand experience.  If it supports .net 4.0 (I see conflicting info that it does) you should have a fair shot, but I don't know.  Please let me know your results!
